100 homes surveyed – and counting!

Hi Folks,

Just to let you know that – together with our partners – we’ve now advised more than a hundred homeowners how to make their homes warmer and cheaper to run. The enthusiasm for our free home efficiency surveys has been really fantastic to witness.

We’ve a few left within the budget – so if you live in Portslade or Hollingdean then do get in contact with the Green Buliding Partnership here.

Meanwhile, I thought you might like to know that Brighton 10:10 is giving away thousands of pounds worth of energy saving equipment and advice at two free events tomorrow (Saturday 10th March).

Using local suppliers 10:10 have put the equipment into some rather cool energy-saving packs, including energy monitors, radiator boosters, secondary glazing and loads more. All in all these packs are worth more than £100.

Finally, 10:10 have also produced a really useful guide to saving energy in your home (see right). Full of tips and tricks, you can download it here.

Hope you are well
