One Digital received a grant of £22,600 through our ERDF-funded Community Solar Accelerator Programme.

They are a commercial printing company located in Brighton and have been operating since 1996. One Digital care about sustainability and are already applying the environmental quality standard ISO14001 to their business practices, including the responsible sourcing of FSC certified paper, using soy-based inks, and more. The company is keen to further reduce their carbon footprint by installing solar PV.

One Digital installed over 120 solar panels that make up their 60kW solar array which is predicted to produce 50,600kWh per year. This will save at least £8,600 per year, but likely more as energy prices are still on the rise.

One Digital utilised both sides of their roof to get the maximum number of panels for maximum benefit.

“We already use 100% locally generated clean energy through our current supplier, and this installation will reduce our environmental impact even more.” Chris Staples, Director
